Club member David ventured out on the River Balder on the opening day of the Trout season 2024. With crystal blue skies above, gusty winds and a noticeable chill in the air (and water), what better time to advantage of leafless trees and their usual snags. Though the fish remained elusive, the sheer pleasure of being on the water was undeniable.
